9 Questions with 9Entertainment: Lauren Phillips on the reality show she 'can't look away from'

Lauren Phillips is one of the hardest working talents in the entertainment industry, spending her weekday mornings hosting breakfast radio in Melbourne. Then on Saturday and Sunday, she's up early again presenting the weather on Weekend Today.

In between those gigs, Phillips also scopes out the latest in travel for Getaway, and Victorian-based series Postcards.

She still manages to sneak in some time to watch TV, though given her work she's often watching on a plane. So when Phillips does manage to catch a show from her couch she really makes it count.

Here Phillips reveals what she's been watching by answering 9 Questions with 9Entertainment:

The shows I am binge-watching now: Younger on Stan. I love the characters — I have fallen in love with them all. The story is such an easy to watch show.

My go-to show for a feel-good vibe is: Beauty and the Geek. I was addicted to this season and loved every single geek. Watching them build their self-confidence and courage was so beautiful to watch.

My favourite childhood show was: Gummy Bears. I watched it every day after school!

The show I would love to star in a reboot of is: Friends, because they just had so much fun!

My set up for a binge-watching session is: I'm often watching on a plane, but if I'm lucky to be at home, dim lights and a couple of candles on the coffee table.

The show I was excited to watch but felt let down by was: If I'm let down in the first few episodes, I don't keep going.

My preferred reality show is: I like a bit of everything, although Too Hot To Handle is hard to look away from!

The show I'm in that I most enjoy re-watching is: The Today show keeps me up to date very morning.

The TV or movie character I most relate to is: Bridget Jones! Clumsy, puts her foot in her mouth every time. There have been many morning on the Today show weather where I have felt like Bridget.

Weekend Today airs Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 10am on Nine.
