VIDEO: Chainsaw-wielding nun clears hurricane debris in full habit

This has to be the best nun-related story since Sister Act.

In fact, it might be better than Sister Act (tough call, we know).

It's a nun wielding a chainsaw to help with the clean up effort after Hurricane Irma.

Again, she was wielding a chainsaw.

Really, the only way this could get any better would be if Whoopi Goldberg showed up.

This is Sister Margaret Ann, who was caught helping to clear a tree from the road by an off-duty officer at the Miami-Dade Police.

The department posted a video of Sister Margret Anne on Facebook yesterday, and it has since blown the heck up.

It clocked up more than three million views.

It quickly spread to local and then international news outlets in the hours since it was posted.

It certainly didn't take long for Sister Margaret Anne to make it big for being such a badarse, but the humble nun reckons she was just doing her bit to help.

A principal of Archbishop Coleman F. Carroll High School just outside Miami, Sister Margaret Anne knew there was equipment in their school's storage shed that could be put to good use.

She told Erin Burnett from CNN's OutFront she was practicing what was preached at the school about helping others.

"The road was blocked, we couldn't get through," she said.

"There was a need; I had the means so I wanted to help out.

"We had chainsaws sitting in the closet and they didn't belong there, they needed to be used."

Amen, sister.
