Khloé Kardashian gives fans rare look at natural hair: 'Been getting straightening treatments for years'

Khloé Kardashian has given fans a rare glimpse of her natural hair, flaunting a curly haired look in a post to Instagram.

The reality TV star and entrepreneur posed in a series of images, sporting purple gym clothes and pouting at the camera.

Her signature slick, golden locks were reverted back to their natural, textured curls, as the mother of one wrote, "I rarely wear my natural hair texture. Felt kinda cute with it (please don't ruin the feeling)."

Fans celebrated the stripped back style, while sister Kendall Jenner wrote, "I love your natural hair" on the post.

"You are the most gorgeous girl!!!!!!" added her mother Kris Jenner.

In a series of posts to her Instagram stories, Kardashian explained she has been "getting straightening treatments" for "years", but recently "stopped" due to the pandemic.

Kardashian shared an image of her childhood self, showing off a mop of curls.

The Good American jeans designer admitted she received hair treatments to remove her curls since she has "been a teeanger."

"I actually kinda [sic] like my curls," she added.

Kardashian has been vocal in the past about her struggles with her appearance.

The Revenge Body host revealed the advice she would have given to her younger self in a post to Twitter.

"I have so much advice to give to my past self but 1thing would be live for yourself," she began.

"Try not to live up to every1 else's expectations especially when they don't live that way. Focus on making yourself happy. The rest is too much pressure probably won't matter in the grand scheme."

In April, the star shared a heartbreaking statement after an unfiltered image of her bikini body circulated the internet.

In an emotional post, she explained that having an unfiltered and unauthorised photo of herself circulating online was damaging to her self-confidence.

Kardashian said she has been under "pressure, constant ridicule and judgment" since her family's reality TV show Keeping Up With the Kardashians premiered in 2007 — and the image pushed her to breaking point.

"As someone who has struggled with body image her whole life, when someone takes a photo of you that isn't flattering in bad lighting or doesn't capture your body the way it is after working so hard to get it to this point — and then shares it to the world — you should have every right to ask for it not to be shared — no matter who you are," she wrote in her Instagram statement.

"You never quite get used to being judged and pulled apart and told how unattractive one is. This is an example of how I have been conditioned to feel, that I am not beautiful enough just being me."
