The new trailer for upcoming monster blockbuster Godzilla is here and it's a jaw-dropping doozy! Check it out above.

After Hollywood tackled the legendary Japanese creature back in 1998 and the film (starring Matthew Broderick) bombed, many fans have been dubious about the 2014 reboot.

Well, this edge-of-your-seat clip should reassure the sceptics. The teaser footage from the flick is nothing short of awesome, with tantalising glimpses of the fearsome Godzilla and his path of destruction leaving us wanting more.

Godzilla stars Breaking Bad's Bryan Cranston, as well as Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen. Catch it in cinemas from May 15, 2014.
