Stars kick off racing season with the stylish 2024 Spring Gala
The 2024 racing season is officially here.
And what better way to kick off the season than with a stylish star-studded night out.
From a former Miss Universe Australia to an international actor and jockey, some famous faces gathered for the Victoria Racing Club Spring Gala Dinner at the Crown Palladium on Thursday September 5 evening.
With lots of sparkles and silky gowns, it was certainly a night of fashion to remember.

Olivia Molly Rogers
It was all about the sparkles at the gala for former Miss Universe Australia Olivia Molly Rogers.
The model shimmered all evening in a custom two-piece gown by Melbourne bridal designer Oglialoro Couture.
Rogers paired the incredible structured strapless look with a silky scarf.
The 32-year-old gave her 325,000 Instagram followers a behind the scenes look of her getting ready for the gala and completing her look with a hidden pair of black pointed toe heels.
"Last night 🥀" she captioned the post.
Olivia Molly Rogers
The model showed off her side profile in one snap, revealing she stylishly tied the matching scarf secure in a knot behind her back.
Rogers finished off her look by fashioning her hair up in a bun with some stray strands to frame her face.

The Miss Universe Australia star posed for some photos ahead of the gala with reality TV personality Paul Versace who opted for a silky blue blazer and bowtie.
Demi Brereton
Melbourne model Demi Brereton makes her mark on racing season each year with her stellar trackside looks – and this Spring Gala is no different.
Brereton, the daughter of former top jockey Danny Brereton, dressed to impress in a form-fitting plum gown with her hair styled in an up-do.
In 2023, 9Honey exclusively revealed Brereton had joined the VRC as a 2023 Melbourne Cup Carnival Ambassador and Fashions on the Field judge.
"I love this sport and I adore the fashion," she told 9Honey Style, sharing her biggest fashion tips for racing season.
Michelle Payne
Jockey Michelle Payne brought the drama to the Spring Gala in an embroidered Vivienna Lorikeet gown with statement sheer cape sleeves.
The athlete wore the Lilith Cocktail Dress in Green from the Melbourne bridal brand which is adorned with metallic thread, beading and according to the designer is the very essence of "stepping into a fairy tale garden".

Payne showed off the incredible glitzy detail adorning the fabric.

New Zealand actor Tim Kano suited up for the occasion in a white dress shirt and matching blazer with a bowtie.
Kris Smith and Sarah Smith
English Australian model Kris Smith had a very special date to the gala – his wife Sarah.
The couple matched in monochromatic looks for night as they posed for pictures looking all loved up two years on from tying the knot in 2022.
