Vanessa Grimaldi of the Bachelor shares recent miscarriage
The Bachelor's Vanessa Grimaldi has revealed she suffered a miscarriage "a few months ago."
The reality star revealed the news in a powerful social media post in which she shared the unintentionally painful questions she is asked including "Anymore babies?" and "Any more kids in your near future?"
"I wasn't sure how to share this. But, I knew I wanted to," Grimaldi said on social media. "I knew I wanted to help other women feel less alone in their miscarriage journey.

"I know the shock, the pain, the confusion, the feeling of hopelessness and uncomfortable 'when are you having another' conversations all too well," she added.
Grimaldi explained: "A few months ago, I had the 2 biggest surprises: finding out I was pregnant, then finding out I miscarried."

She spoke of the "hard yet bonding process that made me feel less alone and ultimately helped me heal."
Grimaldi thanked those who supported her through the painful loss, telling her 664,00 followers: "If you're reading this and need someone to listen to your story, I am here for you. You are not alone. It is more common than you think and I promise, with time, you will regain hope again."
She ended her post by saying: "To all the mamas experiencing something similar, sending you love and strength xo."

In the captions on here post Grimaldi explained up to "one in four known pregnancies end in miscarriage, yet, it is still not talked about enough."
"For me, I needed time to heal emotionally and physically before I shared the news on here," she said.
The reality star said she felt "good about sharing my story with you, but the tears still happen and the sadness still comes every now and then. And that's okay."

She urged her followers to reach out if needed, pledging to "try my best to get back to you in my DM's."
Grimaldi starred in Season 21 of the Bachelor in the US in 2016. She was the first Canadian contestant on the show.
The bachelor for the season was Nick Viall who ultimately proposed to Grimaldi, however they ended their engagement later that year.
Grimaldi married husband Josh Wolfe in 2021 and the couple welcomed son Winston, 23 months.
Viall married wife Natalie Joy earlier this year.
