Sir Tom Jones was forced to postpone his concert in Budapest, Hungary overnight after reportedly collapsing at the venue.

It's understood the 82-year-old 'It's Not Unusual' singer collapsed an hour before he was set to perform at the MVM Dome, and doctors told him to cancel the show.

A source, however, told the Daily Mail Jones hoped to continue with the concert, but minutes before he was set to take the stage, he was forced to cancel the gig.

"Tom Jones collapsed, so his concert was cancelled tonight and doctors were called to the stadium," the source, who is said to be stagehand Péter Kovács, said.

According to Jones' website, the new date for the Budapest show of his Surrounded by Time tour is August 16.

A message from MVM Dome, which has been translated into English, reads: "Unfortunately following doctors' advice, Tom Jones regrets he is unable to perform at the MVM Dome this evening."

Jones' original Budapest show was already a replacement concert, after the war in Ukraine forced him to pull out of performing in Kyiv.

The singer has been jet-setting around Europe for his Surrounded by Time tour, and has been updating his followers along the way.

"Electric night in Amsterdam! ⚡️," he wrote in one Instagram post earlier this week.

Jones' tour features over 50 dates worldwide, with cities across Germany, Croatia, Italy, Luxembourg, Norway and Belgium up next. He will then venture to the United Kingdom, and conclude his tour in the United States.
