Tammy Hembrow shares an update on her actor father Mark Hembrow after his hospital scare

Tammy Hembrow has shared a sweet update on her actor father Mark Hembrow, after she revealed last week that he had to go to hospital.

The Aussie fitness buff and influencer, 31, shared a picture of her dad posing with her eldest kids, his grandchildren, Saskia and Wolf, while holding hands and beaming.

"Gramps [love hearts]," Hembrow captioned the post, before Mark shared an update himself.

Mark re-shared the picture and Tammy's post on his own Instagram Stories, adding a comment and update to his followers.

"Thank you to everyone at the Gold Coast University Hospital for getting me started and keeping me going. So blessed," he wrote, adding a bandaged heart emoji.

It remains unclear if he is still in the hospital or has been released.

In the snap, he appears to have a bandage and hospital bracelet on his arm, but looks to be in high spirits.

Just last week, the influencer sparked concern for her dad by sharing a picture of him in a hospital bed to her millions of followers on Instagram.

Tammy could be seen cuddling her dad in the snap, alongside her sister Amy Hembrow.

Tammy had shared the image alongside a photograph dump on Instagram, captioning the post: "Latelyyy💗🐬☀️🥭."

Underneath, some fans shared some wellwishes for her father.

"Another month filled with love and laugher! Best wishes to your Dad!" one follower commented underneath.

Mark Hembrow also does music, directing and producing and over the years, has appeared on shows including The Young Doctors and Old School.

Previously, Tammy made headlines for debuting her new boyfriend at the Australian premiere of Wuthering Heights.

The Aussie influencer and fitness entrepreneur went public with Grayson Te Moana, 22, on what appeared to be a date night.
