The Prince and Princess of Wales have put on a united front at the star-studded BAFTA Film Awards ceremony in London.

The pair, 43 and 44 respectively, joined the likes of Kate Hudson and Aussie star Rose Byrne on the red carpet at the event, held at The Royal Festival Hall on Sunday (UK time).

It marks the royal pair's first public appearance together since the arrest of Prince William's uncle, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

Kate was seen in public for the first time after the Thursday arrest at a 2026 Guinness Six Nations rugby match on Saturday.

During the BAFTA outing, William made a remark about not feeling "calm" at the moment – a telling statement amid the chaos facing his family following Andrew's arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office on Thursday (UK time).

When asked if he'd seen nominated film Hamnet, he answered, "I need to be in quite a calm state and I am not at the moment. I will save it."

For the ceremony, Catherine wore a vintage Gucci gown she has worn before, back in 2019, and repurposed for the star-studded event.

Her frock featured two tones of lilac and a deep musk pink that draped over her shoulders and featured a flowing A-line skirt. It featured a burgundy velvet tie around the waist.
