Tammy Hembrow's actor father Mark Hembrow has shared a moving video with fans thanking hospital staff for "saving his life" after his health scare and hospital stay.
Four weeks ago, fitness entrepreneur and influencer Tammy, 31, revealed her dad was in hospital and soon Mark revealed he was admitted to the Gold Coast University Hospital.
This week Mark, 71, kept the exact details what happened to him under wraps, but paid tribute to the medical staff who helped him.

"I'm a big fan of the Gold Coast University Hospital, why? Because they saved my life," he said in his clip.
He went on to thank the staff and said he was in the trauma ward and intensive care during his stay.
"I want to say thank you very much, you saved my life in that operating theatre and then they've nursed me back to health."

"Blessings to you all, you're the real heroes, the famous people," he said.
Tammy originally revealed about four weeks ago that her dad was in hospital.
She shared a picture of him in hospital to her millions of followers on Instagram.
Tammy, 31, could be seen cuddling her dad in the snap, alongside her sister Amy Hembrow.

Underneath, some fans shared some well-wishes for her father.
Mark later shared an update in one post, writing in one post: "Thank you to everyone at the Gold Coast University Hospital for getting me started and keeping me going. So blessed," he wrote, adding a bandaged heart emoji.
Actor Mark also does music, directing and producing and over the years, has appeared on shows including The Young Doctors and Old School.
