A number of stars have just been nominated for the prestigious award for the very first time.
With the ceremony set to take place on March 11, 9Honey takes a look at the names who have scored their very first Oscar nods.

Emily Blunt
British actress Emily Blunt, 40, has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for Oppenheimer.
"I'm completely overcome and overjoyed. Weak legged and immensely grateful for this moment," she reportedly said in a statement.
Blunt, who has been working as an actress since 2001, has never been nominated for an Oscar until now.
Cillian Murphy
Peaky Blinders star Cillian Murphy, 47, scored a nomination for best leading actor for Oppenheimer.
"I'm 48 and I've seen a lot and been doing it for 28 years now, so I think I can understand how significant it is to me and how meaningful it is to me and to other people," he told Deadline about the nod.
"You know, it's been a long time in the business. I think as a youngster it just didn't seem a possibility, anything like this."
Lily Gladstone
Lily Gladstone, 37, is nominated for Best Actress in a Motion Picture for Killers of the Flower Moon.
Danielle Brooks
Danielle Brooks received her first Oscar nod for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for The Color Purple.
"It's like getting the M.V.P. at the Super Bowl. Crazy. It's what I always just hoped and dreamed would happen, but for it to actually happen, I'm in shock! It's like what it says in "The Color Purple": "Look what God has done,"' she said, according to the New York Times.
Sandra Hüller
German actress Sandra Hüller is also celebrating her very first Oscar nomination.
The 45-year-old is up for her role in the film Anatomy of a Fall.
Da'Vine Joy Randolph
Da'Vine Joy Randolph earned her first nod for Best Supporting Actress after playing alongside Paul Giamatti in The Holdovers.
