Sophie Monk hooked up to IV drip after 'severe allergic reaction'… still looks flawless

Very few people can pull off the whole "hospital-chic" look… and Sophie Monk is one of them.

The Aussie radio host has been stranded in Dubai this week after suffering a severe allergic reaction, leaving her with a nasty rash and an "elephant ankle". Ouch!

"The support I've had makes me so grateful I moved home, it doesn't compare to overseas," the 34-year-old posted to Instagram alongside a photo of her hooked up to a drip.

"I had a severe allergic reaction and it inflamed in a damaged ankle. It's just really scary when you aren't home," she shared.

Sophie flew to Dubai last week to do a photo shoot for kaftan creators Camilla, but the trip soon turned sour when she became ill.

The 34-year-old broke down in tears live on radio when her 2DayFM co-hosts Merrick Watts and Jules Lund called her on Monday. Listen to the moment below.
