Sofia Richie Grainge and husband respond to 'mean' cheating rumours: 'I had to break it to him'

Sofia Richie Grainge and husband Elliot Grainge have indirectly addressed rumours the record executive has cheated on his wife.

In a cheeky TikTok video shared with Sofia's more than 3.9 million followers, Elliot sits on a bed as he reads through some of the negative comments they've received while his wife, 26, films.

One comment was about cheating speculation, with Elliot reading it out loud, saying: "'That? Cheating on her?'''

"That is really mean," he remarks.

"That is mean," Sofia agrees.

"What am I, Shrek?" he adds as the model cracks up laughing.

Other mean comments he read out loud included, "They got married?"

"She should divorce him and take his child support money," another read, which made Sofia laugh.

Sofia, who is the daughter of music icon Lionel Richie, captioned her post: "I had to break it to my husband that he's not the peoples princess."

One follower commented underneath: "NOW this is a way that we should be clearing up rumors every single time. I love this."

Sofia and Elliot tied the knot in April 2023 in a lavish and star-studded ceremony at the luxurious Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes, in the South of France.

Guests included her sister Nicole Richie, brother-in-law Joel Madden and Cameron Diaz.

The couple are now proud parents to daughter Eloise Samantha, one, who was born in May last year.

"Best day of my life," Sofia wrote as she announced the news of the birth to her millions of followers on Instagram.
