Sharon Stone reveals shocking details 10 years after violent attack that left her internal organs ‘fractured and scarred’
Actress Sharon Stone has opened up about a violent physical attack she suffered 10 years after the incident.
On an episode of David Bengaud’s podcast, The Person Who Believed in Me, the Oscar-nominated actress recounted what she could of the incident, revealing that her internal organs were left ‘fractured and scarred’.

Stone was cautious to broach the topic at first, taking a moment to think after telling Bengaud, “I don’t know how much I can tell you about this”.
She then revealed that she was “hit from behind”, and when asked if she was hit by a person, she simply responded, “I believe so. Yes”.
“I didn’t really know until 10 years later what had happened to me,” she began.
“Because I woke up, I was unconscious on the floor. The two couches were sideways. The coffee table was all over the place. It was sort of upside down.
“Everything that had been on the coffee table was all over the floor. And I didn’t know how I got there.”
She recalled what she could remember of the incident, explaining she never knew much until around 10 years later. Emma McIntyre
Ten years after the incident, Stone visited a neck and spine clinic because of some pain she was experiencing.
After the clinic conducted X-rays, there were plans to do “some kind of injections,” until the doctor told Sharon that they would no longer be able to do any kind of surgery.
“He’s like, ‘your thoracic ribcage is all fractured and scarred back together. And it’s clear that you were attacked, that what happened to you was a felony’,” she said.
Stone said the doctor explained that due to protocol, he would have to report the incident to the police, which prompted her to have a panic attack.
She recalled the doctors and nurses helping to calm her down and explaining what had happened to her. She said she ended up reporting the incident, assuring Bengaud, “we did do everything”.
When asked who it was that attacked her, Stone said that she was not going to reveal that detail publicly.

“I had the opportunity to press charges, but because it had been a decade and because I’m a public figure, I decided not to,” she explained.
“I’m quite certain who did it to me, but I’m quite certain that I would have had a hard time in court a decade later.
“And I’m quite certain that I had enough circumstantial evidence to make a sort of a case. But I did not want that to be my legacy.”
