Sharon Osbourne breaks down while revealing husband Ozzy has tested positive for COVID-19

Sharon Osbourne is deeply worried about her husband.

During her third day on the job for her new TV show The Talk UK, Sharon broke down in tears as she revealed that her husband, Ozzy Osbourne, has tested positive for COVID-19. Watch the video above.

"I spoke to him and he's OK. I am very worried about Ozzy right now," Sharon, 69, said on the show Thursday.

"We've gone two years without him catching COVID and it's just Ozzy's luck he would get it now."

"It'll take me a week to get my old man back on his feet again, and I will be back [on the show] in a week," she continued. "We're gonna get him a negative test by next week."

Ozzy, 73, is the latest in the Osbourne family to test positive for COVID. In December 2020, Sharon tested positive, while daughter Kelly Osbourne tested positive but never disclosed the exact time. Ozzy and Sharon's son Jack's daughters also tested positive.

Sharon's concern for Ozzy's health is heightened due to the rocker's diagnosis. In 2020, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 2003.

"I feel better now that I've owned up to the fact that I have a case of Parkinson's," he said at the time. "And I just hope (my fans) hang on and they're there for me because I need them."

Osbourne has had a number of serious health issues over the years, including a severe infection and a fall he said led to him having the "worst" year of his life.

"When I had the fall it was pitch black, I went to the bathroom and I fell. I just fell and landed like a slam on the floor and I remember lying there thinking, 'Well, you've done it now,' really calm," he recalled in 2019. "Sharon [called] an ambulance. After that it was all downhill."

The shocking incident left him hospitalised and forced to cancel all 2019 dates of his solo tour. The tour was already in shambles as Ozzy was also battling pneumonia prior to the accident.

"I can't believe I have to reschedule more tour dates," he wrote in a statement on Facebook in April of that year. "Words cannot express how frustrated, angry and depressed I am not to be able to tour right now. I'm grateful for the love and support I'm getting from my family, my band, friends and fans, it's really what's keeping me going. Just know that I am getting better every day…I will fully recover…I will finish my tour…I will be back!"

In a recent interview with Variety, the couple announced that their romantic life will be the subject of an upcoming untitled movie scripted by Oscar-nominated Lee Hall.

"Our relationship at times was often wild, insane and dangerous but it was our undying love that kept us together," Sharon told the publication.
