Therapist reveals how to predict if your partner will cheat on you in viral TikTok
A relationship therapist has exposed a marriage 'hack' which can help predict whether your partner is capable of cheating on you.
US counsellor Kate, who founded Restoring Relationships, shared a viral video on TikTok with an algorithm she says will prove if your husband or wife is being unfaithful.
In the clip, Kate analysed two relationship types – anxious and avoidant – and how these personalities can clash and result in infidelity if they meet each other and embark on a romance.

While drawing on a whiteboard, Kate told her followers: "Today, we're doing Attachment 101 and how to predict if your partner is going to cheat on you. And before I get into it, this is very general. So take what you like and leave the rest."
"To keep it very simple, we're going to be talking about an avoidant and an anxious in relationships with each other."
Kate said if a bond is put under "stress" in a relationship, a person's avoidant or anxious responses will come out in full force.
Avoidant types tend to "avoid" anything uncomfortable in a relationship – they "externalise" instead.
"They externalize and bring something external into it. They get their emotional needs met by this third party. It could be work. It could be another person. It literally could be alcohol," she continued.

An anxious relationship type will "internalise" the issues instead, Kate explains.
This can see their feelings manifest in mental health issues such as eating disorders or depression.
"When they do not get their needs met in the relationship, they internalize. So this comes out as eating disorder issues or depression, anxiety," Kate adds. "They internalise their emotional needs."
"Can y'all see how that, like, affects the push and pull? And it's kind of like, if you're not conscious of this stuff, then you can just be, like, at its mercy?"
Kate went on to explain how this relates to cheating – if an "avoidant" relationship type constantly searches outside the relationship for comfort, this is a sign they might stray.
"That, to me, are warning signs that cheating could happen," she says.

At the end of her video, Kate also pointed out a red flag which proves a couple isn't ready to move on and have children.
She said a married couple need to let go of their "origin" family in order to start a new, happy one with their spouse - otherwise they will continue to be "inhibited" by outside forces.
"People just still count on their parents to help them or their siblings to help them in their relationship. And that is so bad for their relationship," she said.
"So they need to leave their family of origin either way and come towards each other. That is the first step of marriage."
