Married At First Sight's Sharon Marsh reveals nose job following Nick Furphy split

Sharon Marsh has a new look!

The Married At First Sight star revealed she recently flew to Thailand to undergo rhinoplasty surgery after announcing her breakup with Nick Furphy last month.

"I always thought I had the same nose as my [identical] twin sister Michelle," the 32-year-old told Woman's Day. "But hers is fine. Mine had a hump and it looked huge on TV."

The Perth-based single says she also received hurtful comments from trolls about her appearance.

One day after announcing her split from her MAFS partner Nick, Sharon says she flew to Thailand to undergo the procedure, which involved breaking her nose and shaving the bone.

"My doctor was 85 and I think he knows his way around a nose," she told the mag. "I feel vain to have got it done, but it really was bothering me...

"I don’t want young girls to race out and use surgery to fix every imperfection, but I’m in the position where I now make money from my appearance."

In July, Sharon and Nick announced they had broken off their relationship after nine months together.

"I love Nick, but after moving to Melbourne eight weeks ago to be with him, I soon realised I'm not in love with him," she told New Idea at the time.

"I've shed many tears over this because I really wanted it to work. I wanted the butterflies and roses -- but I also needed a deeper love."
