'Left with no other option': Shannen Doherty splits from husband of 11 years Kurt Iswarienko

It's over.

Charmed star Shannen Doherty, 52, has filed for divorce from her husband of 11 years Kurt Iswarienko, 45.

"Divorce is the last thing Shannen wanted," Leslie Sloan, who is Doherty's representative, told People. "Unfortunately, she felt she was left with no other option."

Sloan also claimed to the publication that Iswarienko's agent was "intimately involved" with the former couple's split, though in what capacity has not been specified.

Neither Iswarienko nor his agent have publicly commented on the matter at this time.

According to TMZ, who obtained Doherty's divorce filing and broke the news, the former couple separated in January.

Doherty is, per the filing, requesting spousal support from Iswarienko and is asking that it's not awarded to her estranged husband, who is a photographer. Doherty and Iswarienko do not share any children.

Hours before news of the filing became public, Doherty shared a cryptic post on Instagram, where she wrote: "The only people who deserve to be in your life are the ones who treat you with love, kindness and total respect."

She also shared the post to her Instagram Story.

Doherty and Iswarienko married in October 2011. She was previously married to Ashley Hamilton from 1993 to 1994, and Rick Salomon from 2002 to 2003.

The actress has also been battling breast cancer in recent years. She was diagnosed in 2015, and entered remission in 2017. In 2020, however, she revealed her cancer had returned as stage four.
