Serena Williams and Alexis Ohanian welcome second baby girl: 'Our house is teaming with love'

Tennis superstar Serena Williams and her tech entrepreneur husband, Alexis Ohanian, have welcomed a second baby girl!

The couple took to Instagram to share the exciting news, introducing their newborn daughter as Adira River Ohanian. The proud dad was the first one to share a new family photo which featured Williams, Ohanian, their eldest daughter Olympia, and the newest addition to their family.

"I'm grateful to report our house is teaming with love: a happy & healthy newborn girl and happy & healthy mama. Feeling grateful," Ohanian wrote in the caption.

"@serenawilliams you've now given me another incomparable gift — you're the GMOAT. Thanks to all the amazing medical staff who took care of my wife & our daughter 🙏 I'll never forget the moment I introduced @olympiaohanian to her baby sister."

Williams also made her own sweet announcement of the arrival of their baby girl via a TikTok clip. In the video, Williams takes a seat next to Ohanian and daughter, Olympia before getting up and grabbing Adira River Ohanian to sit back down and make their family complete.

"Welcome my beautiful angel," Williams captioned the clip.

The couple initially announced their pregnancy through a sweet TikTok video, which showed Williams and Ohanian all dressed up before the Met Gala.

"Was so excited when Anna Wintour invited all three of us to the Met Gala," the tennis champion casually captioned the clip.

The video featured a series of pictures of the couple in different poses with the last slide depicting Williams revealing a baby bump – which understandably sent fans into a frenzy in her comments.

Ohanian recently opened up about fatherhood in an interview with People where he said,

"No one's more excited than her….She's been wanting this. She's been praying and asking about this for quite some time, so she's very ready."

"We're not first-time parents anymore. I feel more confident about having a newborn, all of those things that I just had zero confidence about with Olympia because I'd never even been around babies at that point in my life," he added.
