Olympic snowboarder Scotty James reflects on impending parenthood with pregnant wife Chloe Stroll: 'A new challenge to embrace'
Aussie Olympic snowboarder Scotty James and singer wife Chloe Stroll are expecting their first child together.
The couple, who married in a lavish and star-studded ceremony in Italy in May 2023 with Sarah, the Duchess of York, Daniel Ricciardo and Michael Douglas among the guest list, announced they were expecting back in June.
And now James, 30, has reflected on impending fatherhood, telling 9honey Celebrity that while it will be a little daunting becoming a first-time parent, he's more than ready.

"I am very excited. I hope I'm going to be a fun dad," James, who is a is a four-time Olympian says.
In reference to his new kids book that he's just released, called Mooki Vs The Big Scary, James said: "He's going to be a little boy and in this case, I would say parenting is the 'big scary' for me."
"It's unknown and not something I'm familiar with, it's going to be a new challenge to embrace, I'm looking forward to it and it's going to be fun," he says.
He adds: "The timing couldn't be better, I'm releasing a kids book."

He also spoke about his Canadian wife, Chloe Stroll, 29, who is the daughter of the owner of the Formula 1 Aston Martin team Lawrence Stroll, saying he's the biggest supporter of her music career.
Stroll has recently released tracks including Water Over Sand, Extremes and Thin Air.
"I'm so proud of her, it's her passion, she really enjoys it, and it's really cool, she's able to work and do that while were on the road," he says.

"We're both chasing after our careers in our respective fields and going to be parents at the same time and it's going to be fun embracing those elements. It's been fun watching her get into it."
The three-time halfpipe world championship winner, who was just 15 years old when he competed at the Vancouver Winter Olympics in 2010, also reflected on his career and says he loves representing Australia in his sport.

"It's been amazing going and representing Australia across the world at the Olympics, the world championships and X Games and all these different events, it's been pretty special," he says.

Called MOOKi vs The Big Scary, it encourages kids to chase their dreams and to be fearless.
The name of the main character, Mooki, is named after his alter ego.
"It's really about my reflection a little bit of my life, how I've had to face different challenges, overcome different elements and have a lot of side steps to get to wherever that north star's been in my career to date and that's ''the big scary'' I guess," he says.
He called the release of the book a "dream come true".
Scotty's book, Mooki Vs The Big Scary, is in stores now.
