Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum deliver musical duet as they reunite on set of Jurassic Park: Dominion

Dinosaurs and duets are on the agenda for Jurassic Park co-stars Sam Neill and Jeff Goldblum. 

The actors are currently in London to resume filming the sixth instalment in the popular franchise, Jurassic World: Dominion. But it's not all work and no play, with the pair finding downtime to deliver a musical duet for fans on social media. 

"Jammin' with Jeff," the 72-year-old actor captioned the video on Instagram of them singing 'I Remember You' by Frank Ifield. "It's a day off. So we've been singing a bunch of old songs. Jeff won't practice, so it's first go or nothing. @jeffgoldblum makes me laugh immoderately. He is also a prodigy."

Goldblum of course doesn't need to dust off the vocal cords. The 67-year-old actor turned his focus to music last year when he released his debut album, The Capitol Studios Sessions, which he recorded with the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra — Goldblum even performed at the Glastonbury Festival last year when promoting the album in the UK.

New Zealand-born Neill can certainly keep up. The actor has also posted clips of himself singing to Instagram, most recently performing a ukulele rendition of Bruno Mars' hit Uptown Funk while in coronavirus isolation.

But for next time, he said he'll remember to wear black shades, just like Goldblum.

"More from the #LoungeGoldblum on this day off," Neill said as they returned for an encore. "Next time I will wear my shades too. I had a cool deficit." 

The last time the pair appeared in the franchise together was in the original 1993 film. The new movie also sees the return of original star Laura Dern — and already Neill said it's the best instalment yet.

"Hold onto your hats- gettin' my old one back on this week , and facing off dinosaurs once again. Best yet .Excited and terrified- these things will kill ya," he tweeted on August 2 when filming resumed once coronavirus protocols were lifted.
