From summer romances to high school sweethearts, we've seen all kinds of love stories play out on reality TV.
Whether it be dating shows like Love Island and The Bachelor or competition series like Big Brother, many of our favourite on-screen romances – or 'showmances' – have come from the world of reality television.
But which couples have managed to keep their love alive once the cameras stop rolling?

Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde
Love Island is the show of summer romances. But what happens once the on-screen couples leave the island? Do the relationships last?
The popular reality dating show first kicked off in the UK in 2015.
One of the most memorable couples to come from the early seasons was Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde, who went on to win the second season in 2016.
Now, nearly a decade on, where does their relationship stand in 2025?
Lauren Conrad and Stephen Coletti
In 2004, eight teens from Laguna Beach High School captivated people around the world with the ins and outs of their lives, all aired on the new MTV series, Laguna Beach.
One of the most memorable plotlines from the show's three seasons was the love triangle between Stephen Colletti, Kristin Cavallari and Lauren Conrad, who narrated the first season.
Colletti dated Conrad on and off during the show. But where do the pair stand today?
The high-schoolers ended up going their separate ways between the first and second seasons after dating for about a year.
"We were so young," Conrad told US Weekly about their relationship.
The exes reunited with Cavallari in 2022 for an episode of the Back to the Beach with Kristin and Stephen podcast.
During the episode, Conrad spoke about the show's love triangle, revealing she actually had "several boyfriends during this time."
"Which I'm like, 'I feel so bad for them if they ever watch this [to see me] just, like, going after this guy.'"
Two decades on from their split, what are their exes are up to in their love lives?
Lauren Conrad has also found love again!
The reality star has been married to lawyer William Tell since 2014.
The pair celebrated their 10-year anniversary in September 2024.
The couple welcomed their first daughter Elle in November 2020, followed by second daughter Ruby in March 2024.
Here the happy family of four are pictured together after Ruby's birth.
Tim and Anna celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary in June 2024.
"11 years together, and I couldn't imagine life without you," Anna wrote in a heartwarming birthday tribute on Instagram for her husband a couple of months after their anniversary.
"You bring so much joy to our family," she gushed.
"You're the most doting father/girl daddy and loving husband."
Sam Frost and Blake Garvey
After the heartwarming success of Tim and Anna on season one of The Bachelor, season two's leading man Blake Garvey had big shoes to fill as he looked to find 'the one'.
By the end of the season, Garvey gave his final rose to the bubbly fan-favourite, Sam Frost.
But their love story took a turn not long after the final episode aired.
Not long after the episode aired, it was revealed Garvey and Frost had split.
Garvey ended up dumping Frost for the second runner-up of the season, Louise Pillidge.
The most made Garvey quite unpopular with Aussie audiences, with the bachelor and his new girlfriend Pillidge receiving much backlash for their relationship.
Garvey and Pillidge didn't last however, splitting just a couple of years later in 2016.
After her split from Garvey, Frost went on to star in the first series of The Bachelorette Australia in 2015.
On the show, she picked Sasha Mielczarek as the recipient of her final rose.
The pair dated for 18 months before announcing they had called it quits.
Frost has been in a relationship with Survivor contestant Jordie Hansen since 2022.
In March 2023, the couple welcomed their son Theodore Paul Frost-Hansen.
Frost announced in November 2024 she was expecting their second child.
"Our family is growing from three to four 💚 it has been a wild ride but we are extremely grateful our little one is healthy and doing okay in there," she wrote on Instagram.
"We are all very excited to meet you, especially your big brother!"
