Rain, rain go away! The heavens open on celebs at the Oscars red carpet

Boo hiss! It's starting to downpour on the Oscars red carpet… can anyone say, umbrella chic?!

Our fave celebs have started to filter through onto the red carpet… with their uber-stylish brollies in tow.

Instagram user @sideofginger, posted a pic of Kelly Osbourne and wrote: "Can you spot Kelly O and her umbrella? It's raining on the red carpet… #oscars."

And although Giuliana Rancic is a total vision in tulle, she'll need many-a-minder to help carry her cupcake dress onto the red carpet.

At least Today Show host Lisa Wilkinson came fully prepared! Presenter Christine Ahern tweeted: "@lisa_wilkinson rocking an umbrella on the red carpet #oscars."

Dressed by Pallas couture, the breakky host and fash-commentator's Gucci jewels sure trump her umbrella-accessory!Looks like the celebs aren't the only ones caught in the rain….

Bookies predicted a storm at this year's awards, with the Academy installing a tent to protect the ground from the rain.Let's hope it goes from downpour to drizzle REAL soon.
