"Congratulations Robert and Witney! ✨🪩," the couple wrote.

It's not the first time we've seen Irwin's relationship with the Prince of Wales in particular play out in front of us.

On November 11, Prince William, 43, featured in a surprise cameo on DWTS to wish Irwin good luck in the competition.

"We're missing you, Robert," the future king said in a video message, as he attended the annual Earthshot Prize which was taking place at Brazil.

Irwin was in tears as he was crowned the winner of the dancing competition earlier this week.

"My sister said it best, thank you for changing my life," he said after the news broke, referring to his sister Bindi Irwin's video message shortly before the announcement in which she referenced her own win on the show 10 years ago.

"Congratulations and all the love in the world to Robert Irwin and Witney Carson. What. A. Night."

The pair won in "one of the tightest gaps" the show has ever seen against runner-ups Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy.

Both couples individually received more votes than anyone has ever received in the show's history.
