Pete Davidson and ex-partner Elsie Hewitt have settled on a co-parenting arrangement for their daughter after months of public scrutiny following their split.

According to People, the comedian and model have settled terms regarding their baby after separating in May.

The agreement follows a tense period after their breakup, during which Hewitt publicly suggested she was carrying the bulk of parental responsibilities.

Earlier this year, Hewitt took to TikTok and clapped back at comments that she looked too casual in paparazzi photos.

“That’s not what I’m thinking about right now because I have a baby to take care of, and I also have to work and make money, and I’m doing it on my own, which is hard,” she said.

When a follower asked if she meant she was supporting Scottie financially without help, Hewitt replied in a now-deleted comment: “I am :)“.

Around the same time, she revealed on Instagram that she was searching for a nanny.

In a joint statement released when they broke up, the pair said that their daughter’s wellbeing was their top priority. Getty

However, sources close to Davidson quickly disputed her claims, maintaining that the former Saturday Night Live star has been an active, involved father.

“Pete has made himself extremely available and has provided full financial support,” a source told People at the time. “Pete is actually covering all Scottie’s costs and more.”

The insider added that Davidson wished Hewitt “good health and success for the sake of their daughter.”

Davidson, 32, and Hewitt welcomed Scottie in December last year after first being linked in early 2025.

Their daughter is named after Davidson’s late father, New York firefighter Scott Matthew Davidson, who died during the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Prior to the split, Davidson spoke candidly about becoming a parent, describing fatherhood as “exhausting and rewarding” while praising Hewitt as a fantastic mum.

Both parents have since shared glimpses of life with their daughter.

Davidson recently celebrated Father’s Day with Scottie and his mother at New York’s American Museum of Natural History, while Hewitt posted photos documenting the baby’s first swimming lesson.
