David Beckham
David Beckham lit the flame for the London 2012 Olympics.
Before it was announced, there were rumours that he would be the top pick, however, he wasn't fully on board.
"I haven't got the call yet. But my view on that is it should be an Olympian. That's my view," he said on Today at the time.
"If I'm offered it, it would be hard to say no."
Muhammad Ali
In 1996 during the Centennial olympic Games in Atlanta, Muhammad Ali held the torch before lighting the Olympic Flame.
