Nicole Kidman accidentally reveals Big Little Lies Season 2 spoiler
This article contains major spoilers for Big Little Lies Season 2.
Nicole Kidman made a bit of a blunder while promoting the second season of Big Little Lies this week.
During a panel discussion ahead of the June 9 premiere, the actress was asked about working with her co-star Alexander Skarsgård, who played her character Celeste's abusive husband Perry in Season 1.
"He was the most incredible acting partner, and then he came back for Season 2," said Kidman, 51, on Wednesday.
Kidman's co-star — and fellow executive producer — Reese Witherspoon giggled uncomfortably and motioned for Kidman to stop in her tracks.

After realising her mistake, Kidman continued, "He has a little bit of a part in the sense of… the basis of… OK, I'll be quiet. He didn't abandon us. We'll put it that way."
To recap, Perry is killed in the final episode when he's pushed down the stairs by Bonnie (Zoe Kravitz), surrounded by the other four members of the Monterey Five: Celeste, Madeline (Witherspoon), Jane (Shailene Woodley) and Renata (Laura Dern).

So when Kidman implied that she got to work with Skarsgård again in Season 2, eyebrows were raised.
It's likely Skarsgård will reprise his role in Season 2 through flashback scenes. Meryl Streep will join the show as Perry's mother, Mary Louise Wright, who arrives in Monterey to ask some questions about the sudden and mysterious death of her son.
