'Glee' and 'Supergirl' star Melissa Benoist welcomes first child
Melissa Benoist is officially a mum!
The Glee star welcomed her first child with husband Chris Wood, a baby boy named Huxley Robert Wood. She shared a photo of his tiny hand on Instagram, captioning it: "Huxley Robert Wood got here a few weeks ago ♥️ and this little boy is everything."
Her husband, known for his role on The Vampire Diaries shared the same photo but opted for a funnier caption: "Our son was born his name is Huxley he's amazing and no it's probably none of your business xo brb see you in 18 years."
The couple are notoriously private, but revealed they were expecting a baby back in March.
They married in a private ceremony last year with friends and family. A source told E! that it was "beautiful," "peaceful and quiet," on a private estate next to a pool of water.
The couple met on the set of the CW series Supergirl, in which Benoist plays the title role. Wood joined the cast in 2016 as her love interest, Mon-El. One year later, the co-stars became an item.
