Mick Jagger's fiancee Melanie Hamrick 'shaken and sad' after being 'physically attacked' in London

Melanie Hamrick, the fiancee of Mick Jagger, says she was "physically attacked" during an outing in London.

The American choreographer, 38, alleged in a now-deleted Instagram Story that she was "grabbed from behind" while at Annabel's, a private members club in Mayfair, leaving her "shaken".

"This is incredibly hard to share - but I was physically attacked at @annabelsmayfair tonight," Hamrick wrote in the post shared overnight.

"I'm so thankful to my friends for protecting me. Two people grabbed me from behind and thank god for good people who stepped in to help me.

"I'm shaken, sad and heartbroken that people can treat each other this way."

While Hamrick has removed the post, London's Metropolitan Police are "aware of an Instagram story alleging an assault in Mayfair on Tuesday 10 February," per People magazine.

Hamrick, a former ballerina, confirmed she and Rolling Stones icon Jagger, 82, were engaged last year.

"We've been engaged two or three years," she told French publication Paris Match in April 2025.

However, it seems the couple aren't racing down the aisle.

Maybe one day we'll marry, maybe not. We are so happy in our current life that I would be too afraid to change anything," she added.

Hamrick and Jagger, who began dating in 2014 after meeting at a Rolling Stones concert, share a nine-year-old son, Deveraux Octavian Basil Jagger.

The couple's 44-year age gap has drawn plenty of attention in the more than 10 years they've been together.

However, Hamrick told The Times she "[doesn't] think about it" and people can "mind their own business".

"Everyone's going to have their opinion. If you think about others' opinions, no matter where you are in life, you're going to have a problem and you're going to analyse it," she told the publication in 2024.

"Am I happy? Yes. Are the people in my life happy? Yes. Am I hurting anyone? No. Okay, they can mind their own business."
