Matty J and Laura Byrne confirm their unborn baby's gender on live radio hours after announcing their pregnancy
Just hours after announcing their pregnancy to the world, Matthew Johnson – better known as Matty J – and wife Laura Byrne gave fans another huge baby update.
On Wednesday afternoon, the reality TV couple decided to do a gender reveal on live radio with fans finding out at the same time as them.
On Byrne's KIIS FM show The Pick Up, the couple were giddy as they discovered if their children Marlie-Mae, five, and Lola, four, were getting a brother or sister.

"Something that we've never done before when we've been pregnant is find out the gender of the baby," Laura, 39, explained to her co-host Brittany Hockley.
"It's always been a surprise at birth."
But her husband, 37, was keen to find out, and she eventually agreed.
The pair made their predictions beforehand, and while both agreed they just wanted a "healthy baby" Johnson did say he'd love for a little boy to join the family.
The couple had a gender reveal cake to confirm the news, and cut a slice open to reveal...
It's a girl!
The couple screamed with excitement, though Johnson appeared a little surprised he'd be in a house of three females.
"Am I capable of producing boys? I'm worried! Let's go for a fourth!" he laughed after hearing the results.
"I love being a girl dad... obviously that's matched with the feeling that I'm never having a son. I'm thrilled to have a beautiful girl!"
Byrne said she already has two names lined up, but said she was keeping her ideas quiet for now.

Just hours earlier, the couple made their surprise pregnancy announcement to the world.
Byrne teased she had "big news to share" at the start of the latest episode of Life Uncut.
"The big news is, so you guys know that Matt and I have been talking a lot about whether or not we were going to have baby number three," she started.
"And it turns out, we're having baby number three!"
"I'm pregnant, guys. I am very insane. And it turns out that for a very short period Matt and I got on the same page about whether we wanted [a third child]," she said.
Byrne revealed she is currently 18 weeks along.
The star said she'd "been keeping a little secret for quite some time."

Byrne revealed she found out she pregnant when Johnson was on the reality show I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! and unable to be contacted.
Johnson and Byrne have been together since 2017 after meeting on the reality dating series, The Bachelor Australia. They have been married since 2022.
The couple welcomed their first daughter, Marlie-Mae in 2019, followed by their second daughter, Lola, in 2021.
