'Married At First Sight' 2019: Cyrell's big brother Ivan is back to rip into Nic

If you've been watching this year's season of Married At First Sight from the very beginning, there's no way you could forget Ivan, the big brother of Cyrell who was pretty much the breakout star of her wedding episode with Nic.

Well, if you've been missing some Ivan from your life, brace yourself, because Ivan is back tonight as Nic heads to Cyrell's family home for the brides' homestay week.

If your memory needs a little jogging, Ivan was not happy with Cyrell's decision to do the experiment -- to the point that Cyrell was convinced her big brother wouldn't show up for her big day.

In the end, Ivan was there to support his little sister, but he didn't take well to Nic, and took the new groom aside for a little man chat during the reception.

He asked Nic why he hadn't been ready for a relationship until now -- when Nic alluded to his testicular cancer diagnosis by saying he'd been "sick", Ivan assumed he meant the man flu.

Fast-forward to Cyrell's homestay and it doesn't look like absence has made the heart grow fonder for Ivan and Nic.

"I don't think he'll get the good side of me," Ivan says threateningly to the camera.

Then, when Nic joins Cyrell's family around the table for a meal, Ivan tells him, "It's gonna take a lot to prove yourself -- I don't think you've tried hard enough!"

And then, in another of Ivan's pieces-to-camera: "He'll be packing his stuff and going home."

Oh boy.

Ivan isn't the only intimidating big brother returning this week.

Jessika's tattooed brother Rhyce makes another appearance, which should make for a very interesting conversation with Jess' husband Mick, especially after the things he said about Jess' family.

Susie's father also grills Billy.

Basically it's a lot of man drama, and we're here for it.
