Mariah Carey did not hold back in The Meaning of Mariah Carey, but fans did notice one thing missing from her new tell-all memoir — details about her relationship with ex-fiancé James Packer.

In a new interview with The Guardian, the 'We Belong Together' singer, 50, opened up about her past loves while explaining why some of her exes — including the Australian billionaire — are not mentioned in her memoir.

"If it was a relationship that mattered, it's in the book. If not, it didn't occur," she told the outlet.

She later went on to clarify that the pair "didn't have a physical relationship, to be honest."

Carey and Packer, 53, met at the Hercules movie premiere in 2014, before making their red carpet debut at The Intern premiere in 2015. The pair got engaged in January 2016, with the singer showing off a massive diamond ring, rumoured to be worth up to $16 million.

"It's so heavy I can't lift my arm up!" she joked to E! News at the time.

Carey and Packer split later in 2016, ending their engagement.

In her memoir, Carey candidly discusses her past marriages, including her first husband Tommy Mottola, whom she refers to as a "controlling father" figure.

Carey and Mottola tied the knot in 1993 and divorced in 1998, when she was 23 and he was 43. She later married Nick Cannon in 2008 and they divorced in 2016. Carey and Cannon share nine-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe.
