Margot Robbie spoofs American Psycho with sinister beauty regime…featuring placenta toner?!

If you want to wake up as beautiful as Margot Robbie, follow these steps with ice-cold precision.

Toning her skin with placenta and letting her hair "clean itself", the 25-year-old is scarily convincing in an American Psycho-inspired mock beauty ritual for Vogue's website.

In the short, titled Australian Psycho, Margot divulges her obsessive and ridiculous secrets to obtaining the perfect hair, skin and six-pack.

But as she drolly explains: "There is an idea of Margot Robbie, some kind of extraction. But there is no real me. Only an entity. Something illusory."

You almost had us there, Margot. We very nearly wanted "that third trimester glow" that comes from a near-religious session of placenta application.

Margot, who filmed the video as Vogue's June cover girl, clearly does "disturbing" well. She'll be unleashing that maniacal side onscreen as Harley Quinn in the upcoming anti-hero flick Suicide Squad.

And that's just the beginning. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Margot is producing her own Harley Quinn spin-off movie featuring other female heroines and villains of the DC Comics world, including Batgirl and Birds of Prey.

Harley already has a following thanks to the various Suicide Squad trailers. Not bad for a movie that's only out in August!
