Liam Hemsworth didn't attend the Grammy Awards with Miley Cyrus because he was hospitalised
Liam Hemsworth was a notable no-show at yesterday's Grammy Awards because he was hospitalised, revealed his Isn't It Romantic co-star Rebel Wilson.
Instead of walking by new wife Miley Cyrus' side on the red carpet, the Aussie actor was taken to hospital with E! News reporting it was due to kidney stones.
A rep for the actor told People magazine that he woke up on Sunday and was not feeling well and had no choice but to skip press day with his co-stars Wilson, Adam Devine and Priyanka Chopra.
"Yes, he texted us this morning -- he was in hospital overnight, so hopefully he will be fine," Wilson told Extra in an interview on Sunday.
With Hemsworth too ill to attend the Grammys with Cyrus -- who performed an epic duet at the ceremony with her godmother, Dolly Parton -- it remains to be seen whether he'll walk the red carpet at today's Isn't It Romantic premiere in LA. Last Friday, Cyrus said she was looking forward to going to the screening with her husband.
Meanwhile, Wilson has thanked everyone on behalf of Hemsworth for being so supportive of them and their new movie.
"Press junket day! These guys [kiss emoji]. To all the journalists who have been so lovely and supportive of our film," she wrote alongside a photo of herself, Devine and Chopra.
