“It is with a broken heart that I share the loss of my beautiful and talented daughter, @laurenbennett, the love of my life and my pride and joy,” read the statement.
“Lauren was an incredible person and artist: creative, talented, funny, and as humble as she was beautiful. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and made a lasting impact on countless lives through her music, her kindness, and the way she made people feel.”
Richard noted that from a young age, it was clear she had a “very special gift” and started performing professionally at 12.
He added that her achievements within the music industry are beyond anything they imagined and still “make me so proud”.
“Months before her death, Lauren experienced a severe reaction to a prescribed medication. As a family, we all rallied around her and did everything we could to support her,” the post continued.
“We have no suspicions regarding the circumstances of her death, only deep disappointment that, for five months, medical professionals and NHS services failed to treat her appropriately during her time of greatest need.
“Lauren was deeply loved and will be missed every day for the rest of our lives. I hope she will be remembered for her remarkable achievements, her beautiful music, and the incredible person she was. Her legacy lives on through her daughter, her family, and through the music she leaves behind.”
Richard asked for privacy for the family as they navigate the loss of their daughter, but thanked friends and fans for the love and support during this time.
The post was shared alongside a throwback snap of Lauren performing on stage wearing a cowboy hat.
According to TMZ, Lauren’s death is being investigated, and will proceed until October 30.

Her G.R.L bandmates announced her death on Instagram, releasing a joint statement earlier this week.
“It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Lauren,” the statement started.
“Our hearts are broken, and we cannot begin to express how much she meant to us. We will forever cherish the love, laughter and countless memories she gave us. Her beautiful spirit touched so many lives, and she will be deeply missed and forever loved.
“Rest peacefully sweet Lauren. You will always be in our hearts.
“Your GRLs Em, Tash, and P.”
A cause of death has not been given.
Lauren has been married to her partner Kenny since 2019, they share one child together, six-year-old daughter Harper.
She got her start in the music industry as a member of Paradiso Girls, a band formed by the Pussycat Dolls founder Robin Antin in 2007.
The group, which is a European spin-off of the Pussycat Dolls, broke up in 2010 after their singles flopped on the charts.

The G.R.L group has been hit with tragedy before, when group member Simone Battle took her own life at the height of their fame in September 2014.
The 25-year-old was found dead in her home in West Hollywood.
