Kylie Kelce slams trolls speculating over her silence on Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement

Kylie Kelce has slammed online trolls who speculated about why she didn't publicly congratulate Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on their engagement.

The engagement announcement broke the internet, sending media and fans into a frenzy with nearly everyone close to the couple congratulating them publicly.

Online trolls began speculating as to why Kylie Kelice, who is married to Travis' brother Jason Kelce, hadn't publicly commented on the engagement.

Kelce was over the speculation, addressing it in her recent episode of her podcast "Not gonna lie".

She read out comments that said: "Hey, has she congratulated Travis and Taylor on their engagement?" and "No comment on the engagement?"

She then explained she doesn't address Travis and Taylor's relationship in public, because she wants to protect her private relationship with the couple.

"I have made a very conscious effort to not discuss Taylor and Travis on this podcast because news outlets, tabloids, and AI, quite frankly, like to post only the quotes that they grab from whatever I say in reference to them," she said.

"And here's where I think there is a disconnect. People do not realise that you at home, you have your family.

"And in your family, you might have a brother-in-law, and they might be dating someone. You might have a soon-to-be sister-in-law.

"But you have a relationship personally with them that no one else is involved in because it's your relationship.

"And so I don't need to come out here and make statements when I already talked to them. You see what I'm saying?"

She said it "goes without being said" how happy she is for the couple.

"I don't need you to clickbait my s**t. I don't need you to take my comments and try and dissect it...

"I am so incredibly happy for them. We are so excited that they are taking this next step."

Kelce also said her daughters were excited about getting another aunt in Taylor Swift, and she felt grateful that they get to welcome Taylor into the family in a "more official capacity".

She again touched on how they have their own private relationship, and she sees no need to talk about it publicly.

"It's our private relationship. That's my brother-in-law, Travis, and my soon-to-be sister-in-law, Taylor.

"I don't need to talk about them all the time. Our relationship is private between us."

She also said that the last episode was filmed before the announcement was made public, so she couldn't have addressed it on the podcast without outing the couple's secret.

"It's OK that time made it so that we didn't congratulate them in the last episode.

"Also, that I don't always have to comment on what they're doing in their lives because I can just text them and talk to them."

Travis and Taylor got engaged about a week before the news was made public.

Travis and Taylor have dated for two years and he was a constant support for her on her international Eras Tour.
