Kyle Sandilands 'regrets' on-air blowup with Jackie 'O' Henderson as he shuts down claims its a 'publicity stunt'
Kyle Sandilands has said he ''regrets'' the way he spoke to co-host Jackie 'O' Henderson in their on-air blow-up that led to her taking a week break from their radio show.
The radio host brought up the tiff between himself and Jackie, 51, on KIIS FM's The Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning.
Sandilands, 54, denied that their argument was a "publicity stunt" before saying that he had regrets about the way the situation was handled.

"There's a lot of comments out there saying it's a publicity stunt... we would never plan [that]," Sandilands said.
"I dont think it escalated, I obviously upset her, maybe in hindsight, I shouldn't have said it on air... we say a lot of things on the air."
"I never meant to hurt her feelings – obviously, I did."

"I regret hurting her feelings. No one wants to hurt someone, especially someone they care about."
He went on to say that he has no information about her return or how his co-host is feeling after the situation.
"I'm just leaving this up to management," he said.
"I don't know what the plan is or if it is going to be rectified. I hope it's rectified...The show is just ploughing ahead anyway."
"The end result for me would be we're back on air, and everything is happy, but I want her to be happy and enjoy it."
On February 20, Henderson and Sandilands got into a tense argument after Henderson took time out of a segment to read from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's astrology birth chart.
While the host seemed excited to share her findings, Sandilands quickly shut her down.
"Your fixation on this has made you almost unworkable," he told his co-host live on air.

"You are off with the fairies with this s--t, it's mental."
He said her fixation on astrology charts made her like a "drug addict", knowing Henderson has faced addiction struggles before.
He also claimed it had started to affect her work, going so far as to say she didn't know what was going on during some segments.
"You are not doing the rest of the job, and everyone in this building has mentioned it to me," Sandilands said.

"Everyone has said, 'What's going on with Jackie? She's off today.'"
"You don't know what the f--k is going on all the time, because you're looking at that phone, playing in the stars, and it's ridiculous," he added.
"You can enjoy that, but you can't take over your whole life."
Listeners could hear Henderson becoming emotional as she accused Sandilands of attacking her.
The pair have been friends for more than two decades, and have hosted a radio show together since 1999.
