Kourtney Kardashian's ex Scott Disick reportedly finding it 'hard to process' her new marriage to rocker Travis Barker

Reality TV star Scott Disick is reportedly not doing well after his ex Kourtney Kardashian married rocker Travis Barker in Italy this past weekend.

A report from People suggests the 39-year-old is having a hard time coming to terms with his ex's new marriage, despite the pair splitting in 2015. 

"Scott isn't taking this well. He's spending time with friends ... to keep his mind off of it," a source told the magazine. "It's been hard for him to process and digest even though he knew it was coming."

Disick and Kardashian were together for almost one decade before their breakup. They split in 2015 after photos went viral of him partying on a yacht in the South of France with his rumoured ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli.

The scandal caused Kardashian to call time on their relationship after nine years and three children: Mason, 12, Penelope, nine, and Reign, seven. The split also made Disick feel on the outs with the famous family and his presence at family events have been far and few.

"He was always accepted by the family, even at his absolute lows, and now he can't even come to one of the biggest events of the family. He's not handling it well," the source said.

Despite Disick dating a string of younger models in the years following their breakup, he always attempted to win Kardashian back to no avail.

Last year, in an episode of the family's reality TV show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians, he admitted he would not hesitate to marry his ex "right here, right now", but she said he still had to "work on" himself before she'd entertain the idea. 

However, his effort to change his ways was too little too late for the mum-of-three, who last year fell in love with Blink-182 drummer Barker. By October, they were engaged.

"I think it is really important for Scott to be accepting of our relationship so that the kids can feel good," Kardashian said on their rebooted show, The Kardashians, after she got engaged.

"I am sensitive to him and his feelings. I communicate to him about the kids and I make sure that he is good. But beyond that, I just got engaged and I want to be happy and be in the moment. I just don't think this moment is about Scott."
