KIIS FM announces new breakfast star after Kyle Sandilands and Jackie 'O' Henderson's exit
KIIS FM has announced the newest temporary replacement for Jackie 'O' Henderson and Kyle Sandilands following the shock end of the decades-long breakfast radio show.
The Australian Radio Network (ARN), which owns KIIS FM, confirmed that TV journalist and radio host Georgie Tunny will be heading to the morning radio slot as the network mitigates the cancellation of the Kyle and Jackie O Show.
Tunny will join the other temporary host, Michael Etheridge (also known as Mike E), and newsreader Brooklyn Ross until April 24.

Tunny was previously a presenter on Channel 10's The Project and ABC's News Breakfast.
She currently co-hosts the Two Good Sports podcast on ARN's iHeart and is also part of the iHeart Women's Sports Network.
KIIS FM has been cycling through guest hosts week by week following the axing of their biggest radio show in March.
There has been no official permanent replacement of the show or the hosts.

What started out as an on-air row on February 20 between the former co-hosts turned into a mammoth legal battle between ARN, Sandilands and Henderson, to the tune of $200 million.
Sandilands' counsel is claiming he suffered "humiliation and loss of reputation" at the suggestion his conduct during an on-air row with Henderson would result in the termination of his $100 million contract.
Sandilands is now arguing his termination was unlawful and that he should returned to work on the show for the remainder of his 10-year contract, due to end in December 2034.
Meanwhile, Jackie O also filed legal proceedings against network ARN, claiming compensation of at least $82.25 million alleging that her termination was against the Fair Work Act.
During the now infamous on-air clash, Sandilands told Henderson she was "off with the fairies" and that her fixation on astrology had made her "unworkable".

Henderson tearfully left the conversation and didn't return to airwaves.
On March 3, ARN said Henderson confirmed she could "no longer work" with Sandilands and her contract was terminated shortly after.
Sandilands, meanwhile, was given 14 days to remedy the "breach of conduct," which he claims in court documents was impossible to do.
Sandilands and Henderson have been in an on-air partnership for 27 years.
They moved to breakfast in 2005 and then to KIIS in 2014.
They have been under contract in a lucrative $200 million, 10-year deal that was set to run until December 2034.
