Kelly Clarkson has announced that she's coming back to Las Vegas.

In August the 43-year-old made the shock announcement that she was postponing her residency due to personal reasons, and revealed that her ex-husband Brandon Bostock was ill. He died just one day later at age 48, of cancer.

But the Miss Independent singer has rescheduled and she'll be returning with her Studio Sessions residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, sharing the new details online.

"Tickets on sale Friday!"

There will be several pre-sale events for fans to get their hands on tickets before the general public sale.

On August 6 Clarkson made the shock announcement that she was postponing the residency to be with her children, River, 11, and Remington, nine, while their dad was not well.

"Unfortunately, I need to postpone the remainder of the August Studio Session dates in Las Vegas," she shared on social media at the time.

She added, "While I normally keep my personal life private, this past year, my children's father has been ill and at this moment, I need to be fully present for them. I am sincerely sorry to everyone who bought tickets to the shows and I so appreciate your grace, kindness and understanding."

It was not made public, but Blackstock had been privately battling melanoma and a day after her announcement, his family confirmed he had died.

"It is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away," a statement shared with US outlets including People reads.

The statement for the late talent manager, who was a father of four, continued: "Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years.

"He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family's privacy during this very difficult time."

Clarkson was married to Blackstock for seven years before they split in June 2020.

She filed for divorce from the music manager in 2020 and it was finalised two years later.
