Details of Kate Bosworth and Justin Long's secret marriage ceremony revealed

Kate Bosworth and Justin Long had a secret marriage ceremony in New York City last month.

Although Long previously let slip during a podcast episode that the pair had wed by labelling Bosworth his "now-wife", details of the ceremony have been brought to light.

Speaking to Page Six, an insider shared details of the spontaneous affair that took place at The Rockaway Hotel in Queens.

"It was a very low-key ceremony. Onlookers thought it was an engagement photo shoot of some sort – not an actual wedding," the source told the outlet.

After attending an event hosted by Roxy just over a month ago – which is a brand the actress is in collaboration with – Bosworth and Long reportedly fell in love with the venue where they stayed afterwards.

"They fell in love with the vibe of the hotel, and they decided to get married the next day right then and there!" the source explained.

During the May 9 Life Is Short podcast segment in which Long had let the news of his marriage status slip, he discussed how Bosworth would come and visit his sets while they were falling in love.

"I was there while I was like really falling in love with my now-wife," he told his guest for the episode, actress Kyra Sedgwick.

"She came to visit and I had never been comfortable with…set visits. I like separating the relationship... But, yeah, I loved having her there and we just had the most magical time."

Prior to his announcement, the Superman actress had shared that Long had popped the question, the couple even speaking on Long's podcast to their relationship and reflections on love and friendship.

The wedding comes just over a year after speculation of their romance arose.

The pair met while filming an unnamed film project together in Arkansas and were were first romantically linked in March 2022 after being spotted kissing on a beach in Hawaii.
