Karl Stefanovic excited to spend Father's Day with all four of his children: 'I'm a lucky bloke'

This Father's Day is a special one for Karl Stefanovic because it will be his first as a father of four.

The 46-year-old's youngest daughter, Harper, will join her older siblings, Jackson, 21, Ava, 15, and River, 13, in showering the Today show host with love — and he couldn't be happier.

"I have four beautiful children and it's a real special day when you have all of them together," he told 9Honey Celebrity ahead of Sunday's celebrations.

"I'm a lucky bloke. I'm looking forward to spending the day with the kids and maybe even Harper making me scrambled eggs, bacon and hash browns!"

Four-month-old Harper already surprised her dad days ago when she and mum Jasmine Yarbrough made a surprise appearance on the Today show.

Mother and daughter wished Stefanovic a happy Father's Day in advance while appearing on the show via video link.

"That's so cute," the proud dad said as Yarbrough cradled Harper in her arms. "She's a beauty, isn't she?"

Father's Day celebrations will look different for many this year as the coronavirus pandemic continues to keep loved ones apart. That's why Stefanovic is grateful to have his wife and children by his side on the day.  

"It's a very different Father's Day around the country this year. There'll be many people that can't spend time with their dad or their kids, so if you are able to, make the day as special as you can," he told 9Honey Celebrity.

"I'm wishing all dads around Australia a very happy Father's Day, and hope that next year borders will have loosened, breakfasts will be happening across the country — and there will be more wins for the Broncos!"
