Former Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco mourns the loss of her rescue dwarf pony
Kaley Cuoco's adorable rescue pony Fiona passed away on Sunday night.
The former Big Bang Theory star took to Instagram to announce the news, also explaining why dwarf ponies often need rescuing.
"They have severe medical issues and most have been completely mistreated and not taken care of." she wrote, captioning a photo of Fiona.

Cuoco continued, "Fiona was a prime example: she came to us malnourished, horrible feet, rotting teeth, she needed help to stand every morning and that's just the beginning."
Kaley also condemned the breeding of dwarf ponies.
"These animals should not live this way and should not be bred this way. It's WRONG," she said.
The 34-year-old and her husband Karl Cook, 29, had taken the photos "just days ago," Cuoco explaining that it is something they do for all their animals.
Cuoco and Cook have always been horse lovers — they met at a horse show in 2017 and had a horse-themed wedding at a stable in Rancho Santa Fe, California in 2018.

"All my horses were on one side, all his were on the other. My dream was walking down the aisle with them all looking at me — it was exactly what I wanted," she told Extra.
Kaley and Karl have finally settled into their first home, after revealing they had not been living together after their wedding.
