"I think just because I've been touring for so long, just even the idea of touring at this point in my life sounds super daunting," Bieber said on the stream.

"I always start out really loving it, and then it always gets to a point where I'm just super burned out."

The father-of-one, who welcomed son Jack Blues in August last year with wife Hailey Bieber, adds that he's looking to be more selective of the commitments he makes in future.

"I think at this point in my life, I really want to do spot dates, where I just pick maybe a city and do a couple shows, and not commit to a whole two-year run; That's usually what it is, is like, for a year and a half, two years," he explained.

The news that he's not planning huge tours will no doubt come as a blow for fans of his latest releases SWAG and SWAG II, which include the viral hits YUKON and DAISIES.

But while he's not planning on huge tours, fans can at least enjoy the fact that he will be headlining at Coachella Music Festival in April next year.

"Right now, I'm just focusing on Coachella," he added during the stream.

"I got one show next year, in April, which is a long time away, and I'm just gonna focus on that for now and give my all to it. And so that doesn't feel super overwhelming."

He took to Instagram back in June to discuss the pressure he faces to "heal" and "fix" himself.

"People keep telling me to heal. Don't you think if I could have fixed myself I would have already?" he wrote.

"I tried to do the work my whole life to be like the people who told me I needed to be fixed like them. And it just keeps making me more tired and more angry. The harder I try to grow, the more focused on myself I am."
