Josh Hartnett hospitalised after car crash with police
Josh Hartnett has been hospitalised after a collision with a police vehicle in Canada.
The 47-year-old actor was on his way back from filming a new project in St Johns, a city in Canada, when the car he was riding in collided with a patrol vehicle belonging to the Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC).
According to a press release by the RNC published on September 25, the two vehicles collided at an intersection just after 1 am.

The crash caused significant damage to both vehicles, with both the 59-year-old driver and 47-year-old passenger – who the CBC reports is Hartnett – were sent to hospital.
A male officer was also sent to the hospital as a precaution.
A representative for the actor has since told Page Six he has been released from hospital and is back at work.

According to Netflix, who is producing the project, Hartnett started filming the limited series in August.
The show revolves around a small Canadian town that becomes the target of a mysterious sea creature, with Hartnett being the fisherman who fights back against it.
The series, taking place in Newfoundland, will also star Willow Kean, Ruby Stokes, Rohan Campbell, and Kaleb Horn.

The American actor lives in the Surrey–Sussex border region, in southeast England with his wife, British actress Tamsin Egerton.
They share four children: a daughter born 2015, a second child born 2017, a third child born 2019, and a fourth child born 2024. They wed in November 2021.
The actor opened up about his family life in the UK, sharing in an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in May, "My kids love to give me crap about being an American because I'm the only American in our house... I'm a foreigner in my own home.
"My middle one does a really good impersonation of me, [and] will just kind of turn to me and be like, 'I'm Daddy, and I like pizza and I won't mow the lawn.'
"As American as it gets.'"
