Mary Fowler looks incredible as she makes her debut at Paris Fashion Week and walks the Le Défilé L'Oréal Paris runway

Matildas star Mary Fowler has stormed the runway at Paris Fashion Week.

The Australian soccer player, 22, walked the runway for the very first time, making her fashion week debut at the Le Défilé L'Oréal Paris show.

Despite no doubt some nerves, the Cairns-born athlete looked incredible as she strutted her stuff, joining names including Helen Mirren and Kendall Jenner on the runway.

Fowler, a L'Oréal Paris brand ambassador, oozed confidence as she walked down the runway in a chic black outfit.

Her makeup look included dewy foundation and a pink lip, and she had her hair in curls.

Fowler walked the runway and even blew a kiss to cameras.

A day before the event, Manchester City star Fowler shared pictures from Paris with fans and wrote: "Paris- excited for tomorrow <3."

Before the event, she said: "This will be my first time walking a runway, and while it's a little outside of my comfort zone, the opportunity to walk alongside extraordinary women in a celebration of women's empowerment, inclusion, and sisterhood is truly inspiring."

Her boyfriend, Penrith Panthers star Nathan Cleary, 27, just a few weeks ago made an appearance on the Today show and was asked about her runway appearance.

As images of Fowler doing a photoshoot flashed up on screen, he remarked: "She does look beautiful.

"She's very nervous actually about walking down the runway, she's been trying to get on FaceTime and show me her catwalk, but I said just be natural and make sure you show a smile because its beautiful."

"So I'm really pumped for her to do that, she's really excited and it should be good."

When asked if he passed on to her "any tips", he added: "God no... she holds up that end of the relationship."
