Jackass star Johnny Knoxville announces he's married for the third time: 'The luckiest and happiest fella'

Johnny Knoxville is married!

The Jackass star, 54, whose real name is Philip John Clapp, announced the joyous news of his wedding to partner Emily Ting on Instagram.

Underneath some candid shots of their big day, the TV star sweetly said he is "the luckiest and happiest fella in the universe".

"It seems I have had a lot of news lately but there is no news bigger than this…..Today Emily and I got married and I'm the luckiest and happiest fella in the universe," he wrote.

Sharing more details, he wrote: "It was a small ceremony with family, friends, and THE best minister ever."

"Thank you John Waters we love you so. Ok I'm getting off Instagram now because it's our wedding night😉, but I wanted everyone to know. Love to everybody, wahoooo!!!👰🏻‍♀️🤵🏻💒❤️❤️❤️."

Some of his celebrity friends including David Spade and Nash Edgerton commented underneath.

"Congrats!!! [clap emojis]," Aussie director Edgerton wrote.

In the images, the bride wore a lilac and yellow cocktail dress for the ceremony, while Knoxville opted for a powder blue velvet suit.

The pair posed for sweet wedding day photographs underneath a floral archway made up of pink and pale yellow flowers.

This is Knoxville's third marriage.

He was previously married to Naomi Nelson, his second wife, and before that, was married to wife and fashion designer Melanie Clapp in the '90s and early 2000s.

He has three children from the previous relationships.

In August, he shared a photograph of Ting helping him pluck his ear hairs and joking he was "one lucky guy".

"Nothing screams love like non-judgmentally pulling the hair out of my big ol' ears on a Sunday morning. Not only that she thinks it's fun!! ❤️," he wrote in his post at the time.
