Sydney socialite Rey Vakili shares first photo after marrying billionaire chicken heir Johnny Ingham in lavish Italian wedding
Sydney socialite Rey Vakili has officially shared a portrait from her big day almost two weeks after marrying billionaire chicken heir Johnny Ingham in a lavish Italian ceremony.
Taking to Instagram overnight, Vakili, 32, posted a black-and-white shot of the newlyweds kissing after their Sicilian ceremony, which was hosted at Taormina's San Domenico Palace, A Four Seasons Hotel.
"Sicily 30.06.23 🖤," was her simple caption, written alongside the photo.

Days earlier, Vakili had shared another black-and-white snap from her wedding weekend to Instagram, which showed Ingham, 36, smiling at his new bride as she danced and clapped her hands.
The couple tied the knot at the end of June, in front of their close family and friends, which included various high-profilers from Australian society.
Such guests included Ingham's sister Tamie Ingham, 33, who herself had married celebrity chef Guillaume Brahimi, 55, weeks before on June 15 in a married celebrity chef Guillaume Brahimi.
Johnny Ingham and Tamie Ingham's sister Katie Ingham – who is also a grandchild of late chicken king Walter Ingham – is also set to marry her partner Ali Rosenberg in Europe within the coming weeks.

Vakili's snap, however, was not the first her social media followers had seen of her lavish nuptials – her loved ones have been intermittently sharing snaps and videos from the couple's big day over the past 11 days.
Such photos and videos, shared to social media, showed Ingham and Vakili's ceremony was delicately decorated, with purple flowers being central to the theme of the dreamy wedding event.
Just as dreamy was the bride's wedding dress, an off-the-shoulder tulle gown that flowed all around her as she greeted the guests for the first time as Mrs Ingham.
She polished off the look with half-pinned up hair and glowy makeup that showed off her radiant post-wedding smile.

The groom, who is one of the heirs of the billions-strong Ingham chicken empire, wore a classic fitted black suit with a bowtie to complement his bride's ethereal dress.
The guests were seen sitting at a reception table inundated by purple flowers, some of which include The Hundred with Andy Lee host Andy Lee and his partner Rebecca Harding, PR founder Montarna Pitt and her husband Nick, as well as jewellery brand owner Charlotte Heinrich.
In the wake of Ingham and Vakili's nuptials, Lee has had to clear up wedding rumours surrounding himself and Harding after he referred to himself as a "husband" in social media posts from the event – he has once again noted that neither he nor Harding have secretly tied the knot.
Racing royalty Gai and Kate Waterhouse were also in attendance at Ingham and Vakili's event, and even international guests made it to the nuptials, such as Vakili's bridesmaid Isha Ambani, daughter of Mukesh Ambani, the richest person in Asia.

The bride and groom enjoyed their reception, even being hoisted up onto the shoulders of their guests in celebration.
The pair were first linked in 2018, and after a brief split in between, rekindled their romance in 2021.
As per her Instagram bio, Vakili studied political science at Yale in the US, before completing a Master of Business Administration at Stanford, even once working as an assistant to Vogue's editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.
Ingham's lush Italian wedding comes on the heels of his sister Tamie's wedding in Paris in June.
Tamie wed her celebrity chef husband Guillame Brahimi in a lavish French ceremony held on the grounds of the lavish Musée Rodin, followed by a private reception at Maxim's de Paris, which Ingham and Vakili also attended.
The siblings and their partners will also be attending their sister Katie's nuptials with her partner Ali Rosenberg, which will also be taking place soon in Italy.
