Jesinta Franklin doesn't want to be an international model because she's 'married now'

Jesinta Franklin is shutting down rumours that she has plans to leave Australia and pursue an international modelling career.

"The international modelling scene - it’s something I haven’t entertained the thought of much just because I’m a married woman now," she said while speaking about her new Dior campagin on The Morning Show September 5, "and my priority is obviously all my work commitments here and my husband."  

The 26-year-old wed Sydney Swans player Buddy Franklin in a top-secret ceremony in the Blue Mountains last November, and the pair are based in Sydney's Eastern Suburbs.

"I think if an international career was something that I wanted, I probably wouldn’t have gotten married, and I would’ve spent a lot of time over there because it takes a lot of hard work to crack it overseas," she continued. "Because I'm no one overseas. No one knows who I am."

And, she concluded, "At the end of the day, Bud's going to be keeping me warm when I'm 80, not a career."

Her comments come a week after she and 30-year-old Buddy walked the red carpet together at the AFL All-Australian Announcement in Melbourne.

"Congratulations to my amazing husband on being recognised for his amazing achievements this year," she captioned a photo from the evening on Instagram. "What happens on the field is only achieved by hard work, dedication and sacrifice off the field ❤ A true inspiration x."
