Jennifer Aniston’s rare remark about ex Brad Pitt in new interview: ‘Hilarious, he hated me’
Jennifer Aniston was “caught off guard” before making a rare comment about ex-husband Brad Pitt.
The Friends actress, 52, reunited with former co-star Lisa Kudrow, 62, for Variety’s Actors on Actors series, when they looked back on the show’s biggest guest stars – including one particular A-lister from Aniston’s past.

“Did you like the Thanksgiving episodes? Those were fun,” said Aniston as Kudrow replied: “Yes. Those were great, the Thanksgiving episodes. When Brad [Pitt] was on, that was hilarious.”
“That was hilarious, he hated me,” Aniston quipped back, cheekily referring to their characters’ storyline in the episode.
“I know. How funny,” Aniston reflected. “The movie stars that came on Friends. Brad [Pitt], Bruce Willis, Julia Roberts. Isabella Rossellini. We had so many – Sean Penn. They were always nervous. Remember? I always found it fascinating how nervous they were.”

Aniston famously played Rachel Greene alongside Kudrow as Phoebe Buffay in the hit sitcom from 1994 to 2004.
Arguably one of the most memorable guest appearances across the 10 seasons was when Pitt, 62, played Will Colbert, an old high school friend of Ross, Monica and Rachel in 2002.

The group soon find out that he and Ross were part of an ‘I hate Rachel Green’ club in high school, leading to Aniston’s comment.
What made Pitt’s appearance even more entertaining was that he was Aniston’s husband at the time of filming.
As one fan pointed out in the comments: “Kudrow forgot Jen’s dating history for a second 👀.”
The comment has amassed over 2,000 likes in less than five hours, as a second agreed: “Lisa caught Jen off guard with that Brad mention lol”.
Aniston and Pitt married in 2000 before divorcing in 2005. Pitt then went on to have a 12-year relationship with Angelina Jolie.
Fans were quick to comment as Aniston recalled sharing a screen with her famous ex-husband.
“I love that Jen is in a place where... she can look back on the ep with Brad with fondness. I know they’ve been good publicly since that 2020 virtual table read, I’m just saying..it’s nice to see,” said another.
“Jen: ‘these are real movie stars’. Me: ‘one was your husband ma’am’,” quipped a third.
